Collagen Induction Therapy
Collagen Induction Therapy with LAMPROBE
What is LAMPROBE Collagen Induction therapy (CIT)?
The principle behind Collagen Induction Therapy is simple, it is to stimulate the body’s own production of collagen when forced to heal an induced injury. A fine microprobe or needle is inserted underneath the wrinkle and a radio frequency current is introduced to injure the area sufficiently to increase blood and oxygen to the area, stimulating cellular activity. The lymphatic system then absorb damaged collagen and elastin. The tonofibrils in the skin are activated.
Tonofibrils are active in children but become dormant in adulthood. Tonofibrils are activated through injury and we utalise this ability of our skin when it gets signaled to heal, to plump up areas like wrinkles, naturally. No foreign ingredients are injected into the wrinkle.
What is LAMPROBE Fibroblast Skin Tightening?
The principle behind Fibroblast Skin Tightening is a controlled injury is induced so that the fibroblasts in the dermis are stimulated to produce new collagen and elastin and Glycoaminoglycans (GAG’s) in the dermis. A fine microprobe or needle is inserted on either side of the wrinkle and a radio frequency current is introduced to injure the area sufficiently to stimulate all the cellular activity required for intense healing and regeneration. The tonofibrils in the skin are activated to tighten the skin.
What will the skin look like with LAMPROBE Fibroblast Skin Tightening?
There is minimal scabbing with this treatment as the desired amount of Radio frequency can be preset according to the thickness and health of the persons’ skin. Slight swelling may be present for 1 to 2 days post treatment and a course of approximately 3 treatments are recommended depending on age, lifestyle choices, health and condition of the skin.
Is LAMPROBE Collagen Induction Therapy an alternative to Botox and Filler, or does it complement these medical wrinkle treatments?
Yes, to both. CIT results in a softer, more natural appearance and is a great alternative to fillers that may over plump the skin especially the top lip. Collagen induction therapy is great for smoker lines and static lines even those static lines that remain even after Botox treatments.
